For the Love of Flowers

I began working with floral arrangements several years ago as I was planning my own wedding. While I did hire a florist, I was inspired, and wanting to work more with flowers. I believe that flowers help to create the desired atmosphere of a wedding or other event. The beauty of flowers enhances the event in a way that other decor simply cannot.

Since my wedding, I have had the opportunity now to serve as the wedding florist for several weddings. Please see the Flower Gallery page for photos from these events. I enjoy the creative aspect of designing floral arrangements. I work closely with brides to ensure the flowers will meet or exceed their hopes and expectations, while also staying within a budget.

This blog will serve as a place for me to record my experiences with flowers as I learn and "grow" as a floral artist.
